Dog Training in Italy
I am now able to offer the following services to clients in Italy, as I have a base in the Le Marche region, which is situated close to both Fermo and Servigliano.
Over the next 6 to 8 months, whilst the property is being completely renovated and modernised, I can travel to you in Italy to provide the following:
|
| |
| 1 2 1 puppy and dog training sessions - based on my training work in both the UK and the USA |
|
| |
| weekend training sessions in and around your property |
|
| |
| a dog sitting service – with or without some training for your dog |
For the present time, these services will need to be restricted to English speaking expatriates or Italians with a good command of English. Though I am currently working on my Italian linguistic skills and expect to be able to teach and instruct in Italian soon.
From the spring of 2007, we are planning to be able to gradually offer the following extra canine services at Casa Kyra:
|
| |
| Hydrotherapy facilities for your dog |
|
| |
| Agility and flyball courses |
|
| |
| Group lessons |
|
| |
| Grooming facilities |
|
| |
| Wholesale food and pet supplies |
|
| |
| Weekend residential training courses for you and your dog(s) |
|
| |
| Weekend lectures with guest lectures on related subjects |
|
| |
| Trainer training courses – based on my programme here in the UK |
As you can see from the photographs, Casa Kyra is set amidst the most wonderful rural Italian scenery and is within very easy striking distance of both the lovely Adriatic beaches and the spectacular Gran Sasso mountains.

Soon you and your dog(s) will be able to come and stay at Casa Kyra; completely relax with the help of wholesome cuisine and local wines, enjoy the rural views and walks and, of course, the swimming pool.
Over the next eighteen months, I, also, want to become involved in education programmes in Italy both with young people in schools and adults. These programmes will be supported by lecture and demonstration evenings, with my unique demonstrations at shows and with educational open awareness days at pet stores.
To that end, I am actively seeking sponsorship from forward looking companies involved in the profitable pet industry. Companies, who wish to be seen to be educating people about the wider needs of their dogs both in the UK and Italy, which still in the 21st century are just not being addressed.
I look forward to hearing from you and perhaps working with you and your dogs in Italy. Please watch this page for further information as this exciting project takes shape and nears completion.

After a short training session, walking nicely to heel.

Please contact me if you have grooming qualifications, homeopathic skills or nutritional knowledge and you would like to live and work in the sun. We will need people with these extra expertises and skills to widen the base of the facilities that we plan to offer to dog owners at Casa Kyra.
My UK training work and the 2006 summer show schedule will, of course, continue as it is now so easy for me to fly to either Ancona or Pescara to work with clients in Italy.

At the end this young dog was in amongst the family for the first time.
